Birthday Dream Wishlist: 26 for 26

(Source)

This week, on the 23rd, I will turn 26. It's not as big of a "milestone" as 25, but it's four years closer to 30 and one year away from "late twenties." I find aging weird and sort of exciting. I've started noticing changes in my face, like actual cheekbone definition! And maybe the beginnings of crow's feet if I look too closely. Maybe I'd be more concerned about aging if I didn't still look like a teenager, but I find the whole thing more interesting than anything.

Because I love wishlists, I decided to pick twenty-six items from twenty-six of my favourite (or want to try) brands/authors. This is a dream wishlist, and I definitely can't afford all of these items, but maybe one or two. ;)

Click below to see my dream wishlist!

MAKEUP, Part 1
(Yeah, I had to split this up into two, and these aren't even the only things I'd buy if I could afford them all...)

1. Lise Watier Palette Rivages, $54
I need more nudes like I need a hole in my head, but these shades have a powder-cream formula and look so beautiful.

2. Sephora Favorites Bronze Bares All, $47
NARS, BECCA, tarte, Bite, UD, and more all in one set of beautiful bronzy neutrals. This set looks perfect for summer, or even year-round.

3. Colour Pop Where the Light Is, $20 USD
I honestly just want to try anything by Colour Pop, the current darling of beauty bloggers and infamous for their $5 a pop shades of shadows and lipsticks. This palette sticks out to me for its (again) bronzy neutrals, and look at that gold in the left bottom!

4. Dior Nude Tan Healthy Glow Tye Dye Edition in Coral Sunset, $59
It's Dior.. it's blush.. what else can I say? I've seen this all over the blogosphere and I needs it!

5. MAC Viva Glam Miley Lipstick, $19
I love MAC's Viva Glam collections (all profits go to the MAC AIDS Fund), and this hot pink looks beautiful. It doesn't count as spending if it's for charity, right?

6. Annabelle Lipsies Lip Balms, $4.95 each
I already have a couple of these (reviewed here), but I've fallen in love with them and want the rest of the bunch! These smell so good and are great at moisturizing lips.

7. MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Palette Volume 2 - Artistic, $49
Yes, something that isn't neutrals! I've been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone of nude eyes, and these vibrant shades look just the ticket.

8. Stila Come Up Roses Set, $50
This set is a good deal as it contains In the Moment palette + eyeliner, liquid shimmer, and a lip glaze for fifty bucks. I believe the palette was going for $50 on its own. Who doesn't love value sets?

MAKEUP, Part 2

9. Shiro Cosmetics The New Leaf Trio, $15 USD
I love Animal Crossing, and I love Shiro, so this trio is a no brainer.

10. Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Starblush, $36
I love Smashbox, but I haven't tried their blushes and this one looks so lovely.

11. Too Faced Melt Your Heart Out Set, $32
Everyone raves about these, and this an easy way to try both the original formula and the new metallic.

12. tarte Empower Flower Amazonian Clay Collector's Palette, $50
I kind of just want this for the blushes and bronzer... Hey, tarte, could you release a blush palette twice a year instead of just during the holidays? I'd love you forever.

MISC.

13. Birchbox subscription, $14.95 monthly
I whine a lot about how Birchbox Canada isn't quite as good as the American version, but I still really want to try it out some day.

14. Bite Beauty 5 Night Fix for Lips, $18
This looks luxurious and the perfect way to prep lips for warmer weather!

15. Clarisonic Mia 3 White Caudalie Set, $249
I'm jealous of everyone who owns a Clarisonic. Do I need it? Probably not. Do I want it? Oh, hells yes!

16. Marcelle CC Cream in Fair, $29.95
I gifted this to my mom as an early birthday present, and it looks amazing on her. Of course, now I need it.

17. NEST Rollerball Trio, $26
I tried a sample of NEST's Dahlia and Vines fragrance and loved it, and I've only heard good things about their other scents. This rollerball set is a great deal!

18. NUDESTIX Clean-Up Pencil, $28
Tracy has convinced me I need this clean-up pencil (and everything else NUDESTIX makes). Sure, it's $28 but such an easier method than fishing out tissues, q-tips, and makeup remover! Angled eyeshadow forever!

19. Real Techniques Your Eyes Starter Kit, $19.99
I really just need to bite the bullet and buy this! Eyeshadow brushes are my weakness because I always feel I am searching for the best crease and blending brushes.

20. The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Deluxe Gift Set, $50
Yay, a new scent from The Body Shop! I have $10 to spend due to being a Love Your Body member, and this set is adorable, especially the bath tea and infuser!

21. Tocca Girls on the Go Set, $18
Once upon a time I tried a sample of Tocca's Cleopatra and I've been wanting a larger size ever since. I imagine Tocca's other scents are just as lovely!

TEA & BOOKS

22. DAVID'sTEA David's Top 12, $26
I've been getting more into tea lately, and DAVID'sTEA has so many to try! This sampler seems like the best way to cheaply try a few, and some I'm really interested in, like Coco Chai Rooibos!

23. Amoda Tea Monthly Tea Box, $18 monthly
Another great way to try teas! This one comes with four different teas (3 cups each), filters, etc., and this month, each tea is from Nepal and $5 from each box goes to relief in Nepal.

24. Yes Please by Amy Poehler, $16.99 ebook
I fell in love with Amy Poehler through watching Parks & Recreation, and I know this book will be amazing! (Why are ebooks so expensive, considering publishers are saving money on ink and paper? Yeesh.)

25. I am Malala by Malala Yousafzi, $12.99 ebook
Nobel Peace Prize winner, girls' rights activist Malala is my hero. Since a young age, she has been an advocate for girls' education. Shot in the head by the Taliban because she had the audacity to go to school, instead of being defeated she has continued speaking out for girls' rights. I admire her so much and really want to read her book! There is also a movement at malala.org that you can join.

26. Sleepy Marvie Mug, $18.50 USD
With all the tea I want, how about an adorable mug to drink it in? I've been obsessed with Tiny Kittens for over a year now. Ran by the wondrous Shelly of Langley, BC, she broadcasts the litters of rescue kittens (and their mamas) on the web and it's the most adorable thing ever. Marvel is from the Wizard of Oz litter, and he was born with a cleft lip and nose. He wasn't able to nurse on his mama, Dorothy, so Shelly had to bottlefeed him until he was weaned, causing her and everyone watching to fall in love with him. He's doing really well with his brother, Toto, in his forever home and you can check out their Facebook page for all the adorableness. Part of the proceeds from this mug and other merchandise in Little Darling's shop go to Tiny Kittens to help fund more amazing litters. <3 (I could seriously go on for days about the kittens...)

There you have it! My long, greedy wishlist of what I'd buy if I had a zillion dollars. ;) What's on your dream wishlist? Have you tried any of these?
