One Hand Washes the Other Flower Balm Review, Photos

Happy belated Earth Day and Easter! Today I bring you what has become my Holy Grail cuticle balm: One Hand Washes the Other's Flower Balm ($5 USD for .14oz). Filled with beneficial plant oils, this balm is anhydrous, which means there is no water in the formula.  Flower Balm can be used all over the body where moisturize is needed -- from feet to hands to lips, and as you can guess, my favourite way to use it is on my cuticles.

Flower Balm is very emollient and has a lovely honey/rose scent (though there is no honey in the formula -- it's completely vegan). Only a very small amount is needed to effectively moisturize, and water can be added to give it a thinner consistency. I like to apply about a dime-sized amount to one finger, then spread it over to the rest of my cuticles and rub it in. It takes about 15 minutes to fully absorb, and the effects are apparent after that time: No more scraggly, dry cuticles!

That small amount in the picture above is enough to spread over my entire hand, and would be enough for each finger's cuticle. OHWTO says Flower Balm should be kept out of sunlight as it can degrade plant oils, and if stored properly, it can last up to nine months to a year. I've gone through my tube in a couple months though, because I loves it so much. I want a huge vat of it. Seriously, best cuticle balm ever!

The Flower Balm listing has a ton of detailed information on usage ideas and storage, and is really worth reading if you're considering buying it. Which you should if you love multi-use products and/or are still looking for your HG cuticle saviour!

I'll see myself out.
