Beauty Shots: Billion Dollar Brows Brow Gel Review

Monday, November 25, 2013

I don't have completely unruly brows, but as with just about everyone, I do suffer from the occasional stray hairs sticking out every which way. I used to try to just brush them in place, which was rather futile. Enter a shopping trip at one of my favourite haunts, Winners. I spotted the Billion Dollar Brows Brow Gel for a reasonable $6.99, so I eagerly snatched it up.

BDB Brow Gel is clear in a mascara-like tube, with a spoolie brush. It applies well, brushing back and holding in place any stray hairs. It's a bit wet on initial application, but luckily doesn't dry crunchy. It holds the hairs in place all day.

I'm not sure if this would work as efficiently for those with thicker brows, but if you have thinner brows like I do, I definitely recommend checking it out. has it cheapest at $11.58 USD, and I think they ship to Canada as well. The regular price is $16 on the BDB site.

My tube's packaging is different than what they're currently selling (I'm guessing that's why it was at Winners), but the ingredients are the same between the two.

INGREDIENTS:  Water/Eau (Aqua), Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycerin, VP/VA Copolymer, Alcohol Denat., Tetrasodium EDTA, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea

Do you have a favourite brow gel? Will you be checking this one out? I definitely want to try other Billion Dollar Brows products now!

Product purchased myself. All opinions are my own.

  1. You know, I have a brow gel and I never use it. So silly. I have thin eyebrows--not from overplucking; they are just naturally thin, so I think I should start using a gel like you said.

  2. Yea I never use this stuff, I don't really have full eyebrows so they never really stray :S

  3. I have no eyebrows to go astray and I am often jealous of girls who need tamer to begin with! I'm happy you were able to score this for such a great price though! My heart often skips a beat in Winners when I see a product that I never expected to see there!
