Hey everyone! I went to Shoppers Drug Mart today because I had a Garnier Body coupon. Of course, I ended up picking up a couple other things (is it possible to go the beauty section without getting more than you planned to?)
Starting with what I originally went to SDM for: Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Conditioning Lotion in Cocoa Butter. I found a $2 off coupon at Superstore today for this, and it was on sale at SDM for $2.99. Even though I have more body lotions than I need, I still had to get this -- I mean, who could pass it up for 99 cents? I'd heard good things about this so I figured, why not?
I've tried it briefly on my hands and so far I like it -- it has a nice cocoa butter scent, a thin but not overly runny texture, and soaks into skin pretty fast. I do recommend checking it out at Shoppers this week if you have a coupon.

I've been searching for new nighttime moisturizer, and I saw Alba Botanica Hawaiian Aloe & Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer on sale for $8.99. I've never tried this brand before, but the ingredients look good. The only thing is that it comes in jar packaging which won't keep the antioxidants in it stable. I'm going to decant it into an opaque pump-bottle to try to keep the antioxidants from destabilizing. I really don't know why companies keep packaging moisturizers with antioxidants in jar packaging when we know it won't keep the ingredients stable!
And lastly, Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Highlighter Pen in Kinnichiwa Girls! Ahh! This is such a cute collection! This is a shimmery pink highlighter pen, and I think it was $3.99 (regular price). You can see what else is in the collection here. The display at my local SDM only had one of the lipstick pencils and only had one in the display, which appeared to have been used (one annoying aspect of Essence is that they don't have seals on their products). The display was also missing the body powder and blush so I might go back for those. Everything is $3.99 or less, so it's a very affordable collection!

I think I might love it. Plus, I totally keep thinking of this song by Air (that one is a safe for work video; the official one isn't though, so be careful if you go looking for it!)
I also picked up a couple of free samples -- Eau de Fendi and NeoStrata Men Soothing Moisturizer. Both are probably too small to really make any note of, but free samples are always appreciated!
So, this was my first haul post. I know some people don't care for these types of posts, but I personally like reading them on other blogs. I think it will also help me keep track of my purchases and will also give a preview to upcoming review posts. Do let me know what you think though!
Have you tried any of these products? Have you spotted the Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Collection? Let me know!
All items purchased myself. All opinions are my own.
